Nourish The Nations is a grass roots movement that provides a truly holistic biblical health stewardship curriculum to churches, ministries, and organizations. It leverages the effectiveness of the small group, the Christian desire to spread good news, and the power of aligning all facets of one’s life (spirit, soul, and BODY) with biblical truth.
The NTN “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” is a dynamic, fun, and empowering 12-week Biblically-based small-group program dedicated to eradicating both the fat, sick, and tired epidemic in the western world, and childhood malnutrition globally, by equipping ministries to revolutionize their culture of health and fitness, first in the Church, and then in their local communities. It is specifically designed for Christian adults who wish to be educated, equipped, and empowered to be different from the world, and walk in complete health in all areas of their lives.
Everyone can benefit from the information in this program, regardless of age or level of health (good, bad, or in-between).  As this is designed as adult-education, and we wish the small-group discussions to be as “real” and “frank” as possible, we suggest that the minimum age for taking the course be set somewhere between 13 and 18 years of age, depending to the standards of your specific community.

Students receive all the class materials (including the 158 page workbook and 6-DVD set of all 24 video teaching modules, plus a MP3 Audio CD of all 24 lessons), as well as a seat in your 12-week live class at the location designated by your church or ministry, and an official completion certificate from Southeastern University (upon successful completion.)

Students may attend the “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” class as often as they like (limited only by class space).  Spouses and engaged couples can attend together with a Couples Kit; and young adults living at home are welcome to attend with their parents (or legal guardians) by adding extra workbooks to their order.  (Please note: Those attending on a Couples or Family Kit will receive a workbook and completion certificate for each person, but only one DVD set per couple or family.)

Classes are typically held once per week for twelve consecutive weeks. (adjusted for holidays, etc.), but this is determined by each church or congregation.
Each class session is held for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, comprising two lessons covering two distinct topics. First, a 20-minute video module is watched followed by a small-group discussion on that topic; and then (after an optional short break) the second video is watched followed by discussion.  Group members support and encourage each other as they work to change their health paradigms and practices, continually adopting a more Biblical worldview and lifestyle week by week.
NTN classes can be hosted in a church, in a home, or out in the community. We suggest that it be lead in a church building, because of the opportunity to impact church culture, outreach to the community, and help fellow congregants. However, we leave this up to the church or ministry to determine the best location to suit their specific needs.
The average class size is between 5 and 25 Students, determined by registrations and the needs of the specific church or ministry.   If a church or ministry has registrations above this number, we suggest that multiple classes be conducted at the same time (on the same or different days of the week), so that the individual classes can remain small in order to encourage group discussions and accountability relationships.
Students receive the workbook and DVDs containing all of the 12 weekly lessons. If they miss a class, they can review that week’s lesson on DVD, complete the workbook pages, and share what stuck out to them with your Facilitator when they return to class the following week.
Students must attend eleven of the twelve classes to qualify for a completion certificate. (If this is not possible, completion of the course must be discussed with the local facilitator on a case-by-case basis.)
This is determined by each hosting church or ministry organization. Due to facilitator training and time needed to adequately promote the course, we recommend the first class start approximately 2 to 3 months after your organization registers.
Throughout the twelve weeks, Students will be asked to record basic health information and goals in their workbook, and may be asked to share their answers in the class, in order that they get a good understanding of their personal fitness and how to take proper actions to improve it. This data is strictly confidential and will not be tied to any personally identifiable information.
Our guarantee is simply this: If you do it, it works! If you don’t do it, it won’t work! If you work the program, you won’t want your money back. If you don’t work the program, you don’t get your money back.

Your local Facilitator will help Students as much as possible throughout the program to ensure their personal success.

If a Student needs to withdrawal due to personal or scheduling reasons, they may choose to watch the videos and go through the course privately at home, or to take the course at a future time. (Note:  They will not receive a completion certificate until successfully attending a live course.)

Anyone with a passion for seeing the Body of Christ healthier can lead a NTN class after completing our 8-Module professional facilitator training online course.   Each church or ministry will designate its local Facilitator(s), and NTN does the rest!

After successfully completing the course and certification testing, which can be done as quickly as the prospective Facilitator wishes (we suggest between 2 to 4 weeks), the Facilitator will be officially certified to conduct the course in any setting.

The NTN “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” has been university recognized, and so each Facilitator who successfully completes the training and successfully passes the certification exam will receive an official completion certificate from Southeastern University.  The Certificate of Completion will be issued directly from the University.

Concurrent promoting of the course and Facilitator training is encouraged, in order to fast-track your first class!

It is not necessary to attend the course before leading it. NTN training will fully prepare your Facilitator(s) to run our turnkey classes. Facilitators will receive a provisional certification once they successfully complete the Facilitator Training Course and will obtain their permanent certification after the first time they teach Lessons for Healthy Living and pass the exam related to that course material.

The course videos do the teaching, and each Facilitator is provided with a teacher-version of the workbook in order to run the classes. The job of Facilitators is simply to provide a lively, interactive learning environment for the Students, including “making it their own” as much as they wish.  This is done while preparing for each class, by doing additional research, and sharing their personal experiences.

Facilitators are not required to answer any health questions or counsel Students outside of working through the course material. In fact, as Facilitators they are NOT to act as a professional health practitioner, establish any “patient” type of relationship with your Students, or give any official health advice outside of what is specified in the course videos and workbook.

First, use this website to find out as much about the NTN “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” as needed. Then (if you are not in a decision-making position) speak to your leadership about establishing a Health Ministry in your Church (or adding this to your existing Health Ministry.)

No. The Nourish The Nations Lessons for Healthy Living Plan is a Holistic Biblical Stewardship Program. It is a sustainable biblically based approach to living that is easy to follow and honoring to God. We do have strategic relationships with another ministry and an organization that provides whole food nutritional products that makes attaining health convenient and reproducible. We have chosen these strategic partners because their beliefs are in perfect alignment with the vision and mission of NTN.  Both organizations are committed to nourishing children worldwide.  You can read more about them on our about page.  NTN receives no compensation from the strategic relationship.
It all starts with training facilitators who will lead your newly formed small groups. Each church either assigns facilitators or looks for volunteers who feel specifically called to bring this vital message to God’s people.

Within your church, you will find those who are passionate about the ministry of health and wellness. Decide who in your organization (staff or volunteer) you would like to have trained and certified to lead this newly formed outreach.  Simply enroll them in the Facilitator Training Course and Nourish The Nations will take it from there.

The Facilitator Training Course is recognized by Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. Upon completion, the facilitator will receive an official certification as Wholistic Biblical Stewards from the University.

Facilitators are trained and tested online through a private portal on our website. Each Facilitator receives unique access to all their training materials, which includes video modules, and other tools which will assist them in their studies, as they learn how to teach the curriculum, inspire your members to attend the course, and, of course, successfully pass the facilitator’s certification test. They also receive a set of Lessons for Healthy Living DVDs containing all 24 lessons from which they will teach, plus a Facilitator’s Edition of the Course Manual.

Pastors, ministry leaders, and Certified Nourish The Nations Facilitators often reach out to other churches in their communities to help them also establish a Wholistic Biblical Stewardship Ministry. Sharing routinely inspires new facilitators to become certified.
If you have a small congregation, one trained facilitator is sufficient; medium sized churches should have two or three facilitators trained to lead, and large churches should consider four or more.
Yes, Nourish The Nations offers Facilitator Kits for couples and also makes additional certifications available for family members. Visit the Facilitator Program Options.
Each church member who takes the course taught by your Certified Facilitators is called a “student.” The Student course is a 12-week small group program, (2 lessons each week).  For one price, students receive 24 lessons in video format, the same 24 lessons on audio, and the Lessons for Healthy Living Plan Student Manual, which they will be guided to use each week.  The manual was designed to elicit maximum impact from each lesson.  Student, Couples, and Family pricing are available here.

The course empowers individuals to achieve and sustain their health goals through an understanding of how to Biblically Steward their health: spirit, soul, and body. The goal is to help free the church from the bondage of poor health, obesity, and lethargy. Understanding how to eat, how to exercise and, how to supplement your diet when needed, are the keys to maximizing God’s provisions for health. And there are plenty of teachings to nourish the spirit and soul as well.

There are two faces of malnutrition in the world, the malnourished overfed and the malnourished underfed. Nourish The Nations seeks to provide a sustainable solution for both.

Nourish The Nations has linked itself to an online provider of advanced whole food nutritional products to help support individual health goals. It is an optional part of the program for the church and the participants. However, we strongly encourage this option for two very significant reasons.

Number one: our research and experience in complementary health have led us to a unique nutrition company. In our opinion, they have the best science to achieve superior outcomes for those who are already struggling with significant health or obesity issues.

Number two: This company offers its sustainable whole food nutritional solution as a social business. What that means is that they link the needs of the malnourished overfed people of the world (and there are 1.4 billion), to the needs of the malnourished underfed people of the world (there are 1.2 billion).

How do they do this? For every product purchased online, a similar whole food nutritional support product is donated to malnourished children through Manna Relief ministry, a relief organization that has donated over 85 million daily servings of Whole Food nutritional support to children in 89 countries around the world.

This buy-one-give-one model, combined with advanced whole food based solutions, provides a platform that is in total congruence with Nourish The Nations. Approximately 6 million of the 1.2 billion malnourished underfed people in the world are the most vulnerable of all. They are the children who die each year from the acute and chronic diseases that result from malnourishment. Nourish The Nations was able to align with this powerful movement to bring a Wholistic Biblical Stewardship ministry into God’s House and at the same time practice the “pure religion” of taking care of the world’s most needy people. We call this the Joseph Mandate, the preservation of life during the time of famine.

Absolutely! The online purchase program for these products also provides an affiliate referral compensation program of 10% directed back to your ministry’s outreach programs. It is at your church’s discretion how or even if you’d wish to receive this.  Donate it to any of your ministries, or receive it in the form of whole food nutrition products that you can use to feed the malnourished in your local communities. If you’d rather opt out of this program, Manna Relief will use the funds to feed children through its ministry efforts.

Members of your congregation are already spending money on weight loss efforts, food supplements, protein and snack bars, and protein drinks. As they take on Wholistic Biblical Stewardship in a whole new way, if they decide to redirect what their spending, not only are they guaranteed superior quality and scientifically backed whole food nutrition, but their dollars will go to support the most vulnerable children in the world.

The way it works is simple. Each participating church receives a unique website link for its members to use to purchase products. Any time a member redirects their spending to this site, needy children are nourished by Manna Relief. And the church also gets to direct where the 10% affiliate compensation goes.  Again, the latter is an optional service provided by Nourish The Nations to either the church or ministry of its choice.  Let us also assure you that there is no opportunity for your members to join any money-making plan from the purchase or referral of these products from this site.

The bottom line is that as we help you and your congregation to get lean, healthy and fit, and you help us to Nourish The Nations.
