Nourish The Nations is a grass roots movement that provides a truly holistic biblical health stewardship curriculum to churches, ministries, and organizations. It leverages the effectiveness of the small group, the Christian desire to spread good news, and the power of aligning all facets of one’s life (spirit, soul, and BODY) with biblical truth.
The NTN “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” is a dynamic, fun, and empowering 12-week Biblically-based small-group program dedicated to eradicating both the fat, sick, and tired epidemic in the western world, and childhood malnutrition globally, by equipping ministries to revolutionize their culture of health and fitness, first in the Church, and then in their local communities. It is specifically designed for Christian adults who wish to be educated, equipped, and empowered to be different from the world, and walk in complete health in all areas of their lives.
Everyone can benefit from the information in this program, regardless of age or level of health (good, bad, or in-between).  As this is designed as adult-education, and we wish the small-group discussions to be as “real” and “frank” as possible, we suggest that the minimum age for taking the course be set somewhere between 13 and 18 years of age, depending to the standards of your specific community.

Students receive the 158 page PDF workbook (download) and instant access to the 12-week / 24 video online teaching modules, as well as a seat in your 12-week live class at the location designated by your church or ministry.

Students may attend the “Lessons for Healthy Living Plan” class as often as they like (limited only by class space).

NTN classes can be hosted in a church, in a home, or out in the community. We suggest that it be lead in a church building, because of the opportunity to impact church culture, outreach to the community, and help fellow congregants. However, we leave this up to the church or ministry to determine the best location to suit their specific needs.
The average class size is between 5 and 25 Students, determined by registrations and the needs of the specific church or ministry.   If a church or ministry has registrations above this number, we suggest that multiple classes be conducted at the same time (on the same or different days of the week), so that the individual classes can remain small in order to encourage group discussions and accountability relationships.

Students receive the PDF workbook (download) and online videos containing all of the 12 weekly lessons / 24 videos. If they miss a class, they can review that week’s lesson at anytime online, complete the workbook pages, and share what stuck out to them with your Facilitator when they return to class the following week.

This is determined by each hosting church or ministry organization. Due to facilitator training and time needed to adequately promote the course, we recommend the first class start approximately 2 to 3 months after your organization registers.
Throughout the twelve weeks, Students will be asked to record basic health information and goals in their workbook, and may be asked to share their answers in the class, in order that they get a good understanding of their personal fitness and how to take proper actions to improve it. This data is strictly confidential and will not be tied to any personally identifiable information.

Anyone with a passion for seeing the Body of Christ healthier can lead a NTN class after completing our 8-Module professional facilitator training online course.   Each church or ministry will designate its local Facilitator(s), and NTN does the rest!

After successfully completing the course and certification testing, which can be done as quickly as the prospective Facilitator wishes (we suggest between 2 to 4 weeks), the Facilitator will be officially certified to conduct the course in any setting.

Concurrent promoting of the course and Facilitator training is encouraged, in order to fast-track your first class!

It is not necessary to attend the course before leading it. NTN training will fully prepare your Facilitator(s) to run our turnkey classes. Facilitators will receive a provisional certification once they successfully complete the Facilitator Training Course and will obtain their permanent certification after the first time they teach Lessons for Healthy Living and pass the exam related to that course material.

The course videos do the teaching, and each Facilitator is provided with a teacher-version of the workbook in order to run the classes. The job of Facilitators is simply to provide a lively, interactive learning environment for the Students, including “making it their own” as much as they wish.  This is done while preparing for each class, by doing additional research, and sharing their personal experiences.

Facilitators are not required to answer any health questions or counsel Students outside of working through the course material. In fact, as Facilitators they are NOT to act as a professional health practitioner, establish any “patient” type of relationship with your Students, or give any official health advice outside of what is specified in the course videos and workbook.

No. The Nourish The Nations Lessons for Healthy Living Plan is a Holistic Biblical Stewardship Program. It is a sustainable biblically based approach to living that is easy to follow and honoring to God. We do have strategic relationships with another ministry and an organization that provides whole food nutritional products that makes attaining health convenient and reproducible. We have chosen these strategic partners because their beliefs are in perfect alignment with the vision and mission of NTN.  Both organizations are committed to nourishing children worldwide.  You can read more about them on our about page.  NTN receives no compensation from the strategic relationship.

It all starts with training facilitators who will lead your newly formed small groups. Each church either assigns facilitators or looks for volunteers who feel specifically called to bring this vital message to God’s people.

Within your church, you will find those who are passionate about the ministry of health and wellness. Decide who in your organization (staff or volunteer) you would like to have trained and certified to lead this newly formed outreach.  Simply enroll them in the Facilitator Training Course and Nourish The Nations will take it from there.

Facilitators are trained and tested online through a private portal on our website. Each Facilitator receives unique access to all their training materials, which includes video modules, and other tools which will assist them in their studies, as they learn how to teach the curriculum, inspire your members to attend the course, and, of course, successfully pass the facilitator’s certification test. They also receive the 12-week Lessons for Healthy Living online videos containing all 24 lessons from which they will teach, plus a Facilitator’s Edition of the Course Manual.

Pastors, ministry leaders, and Certified Nourish The Nations Facilitators often reach out to other churches in their communities to help them also establish a Wholistic Biblical Stewardship Ministry. Sharing routinely inspires new facilitators to become certified.
If you have a small congregation, one trained facilitator is sufficient; medium sized churches should have two or three facilitators trained to lead, and large churches should consider four or more.
